Can You Reserve An Accommodation For Me?

We work on a first-come, first-served basis which means that the first person who signs the rental agreement and meets the financial obligations gets the room. We do not reserve or hold accommodations. However, if the accommodation is available per an earlier date than the date the accommodation has been booked by you, reservation costs will be invoiced to you. The reservation costs can vary between €125 - €200 per week for a room, or €325 - €500 per week for a self contained accommodation like an apartment or house. Please contact us to inquire about the possibilities.

E.G: I signed a contract with the starting date of 1 November but I will not check-in until the 1st of January. How much will I be paying?

Kindly note that when calculating the weeks, the results will always be rounded up.

E.G: 27 days divided by 7 = 4 weeks.

Can I, As A Parent, Rent Student Housing For My Child Who Is An International Student?

Any attempt to provide false information may result in the denial of renting with us, as it will be considered fraudulent activity.

Why Is The Contract And Other Documents All In Dutch?

As per Dutch law, we are required to provide the tenancy agreement and T&C in Dutch. While an English version is optional, we do not offer this due to potential legal implications. Our company is considered a professional party under Dutch law, and any translation mistakes could be misleading. Since some terms and conditions do not translate easily, we have decided to provide the documents only in Dutch to avoid any confusion or errors.

We understand that not everything might be clear or easy to understand for non-Dutch speaking individuals. To assist you, we suggest the following options:

Use Google Translate to help with the translation.
Ask someone you know to help you understand the content.

Once you book an accommodation with us, you will be provided different ways to pay the deposit, the rent and other additional services throughout the tenancy. In short, we accept the following payment methods:

SEPA Bank transfer (FREE)
iDeal (FREE)
Bancontact (FREE)
Credit cards (4.2% charge)

SEPA Bank transfer is one of the most straight forward possibilities. Kindly note to take into account the right bank account number and the attn. of the transaction. This information is always mentioned in the contract and invoice.

Non-European bank accounts

Kindly note that if you try to transfer an amount from a non-IBAN (non-European) bank account, your bank and other intermediate banks will most probably deduct transfer fees from the amount sent. This will result in a lower amount received by us, and you will need to supplement the amount due. For that reason, we do not advise you to transfer funds directly to our bank account from a non-European bank account.

iDeal is a payment method which is very popular in The Netherlands and all the Dutch banks are connected to. The invoices provided also contain an automatic payment link through iDeal, which makes transferring funds seamlessly.

Bancontact is a popular Belgium payment method which is supported by almost all the Belgium banks.

Credit cards we accept: Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UnionPay, Discover and American Express. If you want to pay an amount with your credit card, a non-refundable processing fee of 4.2% of the total amount is applicable to the transaction.
