Are There Any Age Restrictions for Booking Accommodation?

Yes, age restrictions apply depending on your status and the type of accommodation:

Minimum Age: You must be at least 18 years old to proceed with a booking.

Students: The maximum age for student accommodation is 30 years old.

Young Professionals in Shared Accommodation: The maximum age for shared accommodation is 35 years old.

Expats in Non-Shared Accommodation: Expats can book private accommodations beyond this age limit. The exact eligibility may depend on the type of accommodation and landlord policies.

Difference between Young Professional Expat (YPE) and Expat

A Young Professional is someone in the early stages of their career (0–5 years of work experience), typically between 20 and 35 years old, and often with a higher education background.

An Expat is someone working in a foreign country, often on a temporary basis, regardless of their career stage. Expats can range widely in age, and eligibility for accommodations may depend on their employment status and the type of rental. Please note that Expat can only lease Independent accommodation with IITN.

Are personal viewings always possible?

Viewing Commitment Fee Explained:

We have introduced a commitment fee of €50 (per viewing, per person) to enhance the arrangement and execution of viewings. This fee signifies the serious interest of potential tenants and ensures each viewing is well-organized and meaningful.

Upon Successful Viewing and Booking: If you decide to proceed with a booking after your viewing, the €50 commitment fee will be fully refunded after finalising the booking.
If Someone Else Books the Accommodation: If another party finalises the booking for the property, we will refund your commitment fee, recognizing that you can no longer finalise the booking process due to the accommodation already being taken.
If You Did Not Show Up for the Viewing But Decide to Proceed with the Booking: If you miss the scheduled viewing but later choose to proceed with the booking and finalise it, the commitment fee will be refunded. This ensures that your commitment to the property is acknowledged, even if unforeseen circumstances prevented your attendance.
Decision Not to Proceed After Viewing: If you choose not to proceed with the booking after the viewing, a partial refund of €25 will be issued. The remaining €25 covers the administrative costs of arranging the viewing and the transaction fees of the payment provider.
In Case of No-show Without Follow-Up: If you do not attend the scheduled viewing and do not proceed with a booking, the commitment fee will not be refunded. This policy encourages responsible scheduling and values the preparation involved.

Cancellation Policy*

Full Refund: Cancelling viewings with a full refund is permitted if the cancellation is made at least 24 hours before the scheduled viewing time. A €5 fee will be charged to cover the transaction fee from the payment provider.
Partial Refund: Cancelling viewings with €25 is permitted if the cancellation is made at least 3 hours before the scheduled viewing time.
Decision Notification: Inform us within 24 hours of your viewing decision to qualify for full/partial refund. Decisions made after 24 hours do not qualify for any refund.

Check-ins are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

The check-in process is managed by the management company or the landlord, depending on the accommodation you are leasing. While we cannot directly handle the check-in, you can inform us of your preferred three move-in dates. We will forward these options to the responsible party for consideration, but please note that the final approval is always subject to their availability and approval.

Once your contract is finalized, the management company or landlord will provide you with the confirmed check-in date and time.

At What Date And Time Is The Pre-Check Out Scheduled?

Pre-checkouts are arranged by the management company or landlord, depending on the accommodation. They are typically scheduled between Monday to Thursday, around 2-4 weeks before the end of your stay.

While a pre-checkout is not mandatory, we highly recommend scheduling one to avoid any misunderstandings. This gives you the chance to ensure your accommodation is in the expected condition before the final check-out. Taking care of any necessary repairs or cleaning beforehand can help prevent potential fines or rent losses.

If you're unable to attend the pre-checkout at the scheduled time, please notify the management company at least 48 hours in advance by email or through your tenant portal. Failure to notify them or not attending without prior notice will result in a charge of €100 excluding VAT. per time.

Can I Bring My Own Furniture Into  The Accommodation?

It is negotiable if you want to bring your own furniture, but this requires prior approval from the management party. We are not responsible for granting consent, as this is at the discretion of the management party or the landlord. This is to prevent any damages caused by moving or bringing in furniture. If approved, you may be required to sign a liability contract.

Please note that some furniture may be attached to floors and walls and cannot be moved. Additionally, you are not allowed to make any adjustments to the accommodation, such as drilling holes in the walls. Appliances like personal washing machines, dryers, heaters, or fridges are not allowed.

Any costs related to removal, storage, or reinstallation of unauthorized items will be charged to the tenant. For further details or approval, please consult the management party directly.

Can I Change The Email Address The Invoices Are Sent To?
