At What Date And Time Is The Check-In Scheduled?
Check-ins are available on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
The check-in process is managed by the landlord or the appointed management company, depending on the accommodation you are leasing.
When does the check-in take place?
- A check-in is always scheduled on the next available business day after all required steps are completed (signed contract, payment, and submission of necessary documents).
- If for any reason the check-in cannot take place immediately after completion, the days in between will not be charged as rent.
- Appointments cannot be confirmed in advance, since there are no guarantees that everything will be ready on time. Scheduling only starts once the full process is completed.
- This ensures fairness for all tenants and prevents excessive last-minute changes to the planning.
Once your file is complete, the landlord or management company will confirm the exact date and time of your check-in.
Important: Only the tenant is allowed to be present during the check-in. Any friends, family members, or other persons must wait outside. This ensures that the agent can complete the inspection without disturbance. During the check-in, the condition of the accommodation is objectively recorded. At the end of the process, you will sign to acknowledge receipt of the report.
If you wish to make remarks or add observations, you can do so within 48 hours after the check-in by sending them in writing (with optional photos) to the landlord and/or property manager. It is not possible to dispute or discuss the inspection on the spot due to the agent’s schedule and the objective nature of the process. Where available, remarks can also be submitted via the tenant portal of the responsible landlord or property manager.
Outside available hours: If you wish to schedule a check-in outside of the standard days or hours, this may sometimes be possible. However, it is always subject to staff availability and may involve additional fees to cover the extra allocation of resources.
