Why Is Cleaning Service Included In The Contract?

A clean and well-maintained home is key to a comfortable and hygienic living environment. To ensure that shared spaces remain tidy and pleasant for everyone, the landlord has arranged for professional cleaning. This service helps maintain high standards of cleanliness, prevents disputes over household chores, and ensures a welcoming atmosphere for all tenants.
The cleaning service is scheduled twice a week by default, ensuring that common areas such as kitchens, hallways, and bathrooms remain hygienic. The cost is based on the size of the property and the number of tenants or units in the accommodation. For example, in an apartment of approximately 75m², the total monthly cleaning costs is around €200. If the apartment is shared by three tenants, each contributes approximately €66.67 per month.
If there is a valid reason to request an adjustment to the cleaning frequency, tenants may contact the landlord or property management agency after moving in. Adjustments are not guaranteed and will only be considered on a case-by-case basis at the landlord’s discretion.
