What Payment Methods Are Accepted?
Once you book an accommodation with us, you will be provided with several ways to pay the deposit, rent, and any additional services throughout your tenancy. Below is an overview of the accepted payment methods:
- SEPA Bank Transfer (Free within Europe)
- iDeal (Free)
- Bancontact (Free)
- Credit Cards (4.2% processing fee)
⸻
SEPA Bank Transfer
SEPA (Single Euro Payments Area) transfers are a straightforward and reliable way to make payments from European bank accounts. Please always include the correct bank account number and the name of the recipient as stated on your invoice or agreement.
⸻
Non-European Bank Transfers
If you are transferring money from a non-European (non-IBAN) bank account, please be aware that your bank—and any intermediary banks involved—may deduct international transfer fees. This often results in us receiving a lower amount than intended. For example, when paying a security deposit, we typically receive €12 less due to these international banking fees. Since we require the full deposit amount to be received, any shortfall must be compensated by the sender. Therefore, we strongly advise against using non-European bank accounts for these payments. If you must use such an account, we recommend sending €12 more to offset these expected transaction fees.
⸻
iDeal
iDeal is the most common payment method in the Netherlands. All major Dutch banks support iDeal. Invoices from us include an iDeal payment link, which allows you to transfer funds quickly and securely.
⸻
Bancontact
Bancontact is a widely used payment method in Belgium. It is supported by nearly all Belgian banks and works similarly to iDeal.
⸻
Credit Cards
We accept Visa, MasterCard, JCB, UnionPay, Discover, and American Express. Please note that a non-refundable 4.2% processing fee applies to all credit card transactions. This fee will be added automatically to the total amount when paying by card.
⸻
Important Notes:
- All transaction fees are the responsibility of the tenant.
- Under no circumstances do we accept cash payments.
- To avoid complications or delays, please ensure the full amount is received, including any applicable fees.
