Can I Sign The Tenancy Agreement For A SHH Partner Accommodation Without A Student Housing Hunter Service Agreement?

We collaborate with Student Housing Hunter (SHH) to facilitate access to certain accommodations specifically for international students and expats. These listings could include a monthly service fee, already incorporated into the advertised monthly price, which covers services provided by SHH — such as administrative assistance and support in securing the accommodation.

SHH operates independently and uses its own network of real estate agencies and landlords to source suitable housing. As Internationals In The Netherlands (IITN), we only present these options under SHH’s terms. It is not possible to rent these accommodations without their involvement, as SHH is the party responsible for sourcing the accommodation on behalf of the tenant. Therefore, the total monthly cost shown includes both the rent and SHH’s service provision.

If you prefer not to make use of SHH’s service, you may opt for accommodations that do not carry the orange ‘Soft Landing Package Offer’ banner.

Please note: Accommodations marked with the orange Soft Landing Package tag are part of a relocation service designed for international students moving to a new country for the first time. This service is mandatory for all tenants booking these listings and is provided through Student Housing Hunter SHH.

To qualify, you must be relocating from abroad. Eligibility is verified through the address submitted in your application form. If you hold citizenship of the country you are applying for or already reside there, you are not eligible for these accommodations. In that case, we recommend viewing our other available listings instead.
