What Is The "Soft Landing Package" Offer?

Accommodations marked with the orange Soft Landing Package tag are part of a relocation service designed for international students moving to a new country for the first time. This service is mandatory for all tenants booking these listings and is provided through Student Housing Hunter (SHH).
To qualify, you must be relocating from abroad. Eligibility is verified through the address submitted in your application form. If you hold citizenship of the country you are applying for or already reside there, you are not eligible for these accommodations. In that case, we recommend viewing our other available listings instead.

What Does the Soft Landing Package Include
The package provides relocation support and tenant services throughout the tenancy. SHH coordinates the following:
- Coordination with the Owner or Housing Provider SHH communicates on your behalf regarding the tenancy agreement, maintenance questions and general tenancy coordination to ensure a smooth stay.
- Translation Support Rental agreements are typically issued in the local language. SHH provides English translations or summaries so you can understand the terms clearly. The original language version of the contract always remains legally binding.
- Registration and Integration Support Guidance with essential local processes such as municipal registration, setting up a bank account, obtaining a local SIM card, registering with a general practitioner and, when your stay ends, support with deregistration where applicable.
- Travel and Pre Arrival Support Assistance with arranging travel and airport transport Help securing temporary accommodation if you arrive before your check in date
- Ongoing Assistance Additional support may be available depending on your needs.

What Does It Cost
One Time Service Fee
A mandatory, one time relocation service fee is charged before the start of the tenancy. The fee varies per accommodation but is capped at €1500. This payment is made directly to SHH and not to the owner or the platform.
Monthly and Additional Costs
Monthly rent and any recurring service charges such as cleaning, utilities or laundry are specified in the tenancy agreement. These costs are separate from the service fee and vary per listing.
